Collection: LP Support

The LP (Long Play) format , introduced in 1948 by Columbia Records, revolutionized the music industry. Unlike 78 rpm records, it could hold up to 20–25 minutes per side , allowing for complete albums instead of individual songs. Made of vinyl, it guaranteed greater durability and sound quality. LPs favored the spread of genres such as jazz, rock, and classical music, changing the way music was enjoyed and giving rise to the album as a complete art form.
