Note

Antonella Vitale, jazz singer, but also sensitive author and musician. Together with a series of highly talented musicians from the Italian jazz scene, such as Andrea Beneventano on piano, Francesco Puglisi on double bass, Alessandro Marzi on drums, Gerry Popolo on saxophones and flute, Aldo Bassi on flugelhorn and trumpet, and Enrico Bracco on guitar, he offers a new and absolutely original reinterpretation of some of Burt Bacharach's most famous songs. From "Walk on by" to "What the world needs now", from "The look of love" to "I'll never fall in love again", from "Raindrops keep falling on my head" to… many others and at the end of the album on side A, an original composition by Antonella herself.
The album was recorded as usual at the large Area Magister Studio in Preganziol, using high-resolution digital technology in the 24bit / 88.2kHz standard, but above all using the extraordinary analog machines present in the studio. And what about the piano, the noble Steinway & Sons D274 Concert Grand, born in New York in 1930 and today, perfectly restored.
At the console, two technicians whose names are known to enthusiasts: Marco Lincetto, with Stefano Isola as an exceptional guest.
Soft and detailed sounds, top-notch dynamics, a beautiful and captivating voice: another pure diamond from the Ladies of Velut Luna.
