This album contains a recording that can rightly be considered a reference among the best solo piano productions of all time. The Night Suite is a musical journey that intertwines dream and vision in five “musical novels” that cross imaginary soundscapes: from the evanescent reflections of a lake at dusk, to the hypnotic waltzes of the Fairies and the Red Sprites, up to the solitary journey of a snowflake towards the unknown and an epilogue that sets the air on fire and dissolves into a spherical mystery. A work conceived entirely in the mind and sculpted on the author's Bechstein D282, where extreme technique and poetry merge into a total vision.
