The recording was made direct to stereo master, strictly live-in-studio, during a single session at MagisterArea Studios, Main Hall, Preganziol, Italy, on September 23rd, 2017.

THIS IS A PURE AUDIOPHILE RECORDING:
During the recording of the digital HD PCM 88.2kHz/24bit master and the simultaneous analog master, as well as the subsequent transfer to disc, the entire audio chain was transformerless.
The signal was not processed through any device (no compression, no equalization, and no corrective editing) at any stage of production.

Note

Over the years, I have sung and loved many repertoires, exploring different sound worlds, from fado to Brazilian music, from French chanson to jazz. Since my album "Elle", made in 2003 with my teacher Giorgio Gaslini, this is my first work completely dedicated to the standards of the great American songbook, almost a return, awaited and achieved with the maturity acquired after a long journey, to the heart of what has always been the main point of reference in my path. As if it were part of one's nature, jazz can constitute for a musician a way of relating to art in general, a desire for freedom, a desire to experience ever new emotions, to take risks and to put oneself out there every time one expresses oneself. Together with Pietro and Stefano, I found a deep sharing of this spirit, this inclination, which we wanted to call "JAZZ NATURE", and which immediately became the key to interpreting a vast repertoire of songs, from the 30s to the 70s, finding our group sound and selecting the tracks for the album with great pleasure. Fully embracing the philosophy of this research and completely immersing ourselves in the era of that jazz, Marco Lincetto proposed a strictly live-in-studio recording method, which would maximize the characteristics of our "NATURE" approach, as well as the extraordinary technical qualities of the audio recording. We enthusiastically accepted the difficult challenge, and together experienced an incredible journey, two days during which the music was played, sung, listened to and recorded with the same tension and emotional intensity one feels in the best concerts.
