Two cornerstone works of the nineteenth-century orchestral repertoire come together in this live programme conducted by István Kertész with the London Symphony Orchestra: Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 6 in D Major, Op. 60, B. 112 and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Op. 84.

Dvořák’s Sixth combines symphonic momentum, lyrical breadth and a strong Bohemian rhythmic character. Kertész shapes the score with a natural sense of flow. Beethoven’s Egmont closes the programme with a concentrated theatrical profile.

What are DSD and DXD?
