Among the "immortal" songs, those dedicated to Christmas cannot be ignored. The magic of the classic Christmas atmosphere is and remains the same no matter where you are in the world, even if perhaps for different reasons.
These songs, some of which belong to a folk tradition lost in the mists of time, others composed by great classical composers, still others born of contemporary pop culture, have the ability to reinvent themselves with each new performance, thanks to the arrangements for the most diverse ensembles. Thus, seamlessly flowing are Jingle Bells, Let It Snow!, Sleigh Ride, Silent Night, Rudolph, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, White Christmas, Oh Happy Day, and many others.

This year, Velut Luna is entrusting the Christmas celebration to a large jazz-flavored Big Band – the Latin Jazz Band: 45 orchestral musicians, directed by Renzo De Rossi, unleash extraordinary energy and vitality, offering plenty of originality thanks to their sometimes surprising arrangements of well-known themes.

Recorded as always in high-resolution 88.2kHz/24bit digital format, using the “live-in-studio” technique in the beautiful acoustics of the Teatro Sociale in Cittadella, in the province of Padua, this album is characterised by a great sonic impact combined with sparkling dynamics.
