When a new magazine is born...
Editorial
A new magazine dedicated to Hi-Fi. And why? Was it really needed? Perhaps these are the questions on your mind as you leaf through this very first issue of Audiophile Hi-Fi. Well, for our part, we're convinced it was needed, if only because a new editorial product entering the panorama of a specific sector represents an enrichment, bringing with it something new and unique, and certainly not an impoverishment. And then, as far as we're concerned, there's also another aspect that prompted us to enter the diverse world of publications dedicated to quality music listening: both the writer of this editorial and the editor of Audiophile Hi-Fi have collaborated for years, having been active voices in one of the most important magazines in the sector, Audiophile Sound, created and maintained with passion and expertise by Pierre Bolduc, who, as many of you already know, recently passed away, leaving a void in the hearts and minds of audiophile enthusiasts. We may be arrogant, presumptuous, or even dreamers, if we say that our goal, with this new magazine and the experience we've gained in Pierre's shadow, is to continue to convey a kind of testimony, a path already undertaken that, in our opinion, deserves to be continued (that's why the word Audiophile remains in the magazine's title... ). And to do so in the best possible way, we wanted to offer audiophiles a graphically innovative product, hopefully captivating and engaging, packed with new features, featuring in-depth columns, with writers capable of explaining and also "scratching," highlighting the good and bad of everything that comes under our magnifying glass. And then, we'll leave the floor to those directly involved in the industry, such as Emanuele Bassetti, the owner of Audioplus - Hi End, who was happy to be interviewed for this issue. Now, it's up to you to decide whether to continue with us on this path dedicated to high fidelity, to the proper listening of our beloved music, to information dedicated to the latest developments in a market that continues to evolve and differentiate itself ever more rapidly. We want to be there, so as not to forget a lesson we intend to continue with our sensitivity and our passion.
Speriamo.
