True to an ancient, and therefore profoundly modern, idea of publishing, il Saggiatore is nevertheless a workshop where books are not simply acquired and commissioned, but also created, built from within. A workshop that emanates its own imaginary not only through a single book-object, but through the entire constellation of published books and authors, which thus form a single, great text: the publishing house's catalog; as alive as all texts are, as infinite as every universe is.
