On September 6, 1995 Velut Luna was born, an independent record label that since its founding act has established as the cornerstone and driving force of its activity the valorization of young talents, supported by the professionalism and example of the great masters, in the production of music. of high artistic profile, although without limitations of "borders". Velut Luna has always produced great music at 360°, ranging from the most traditional classical music, to jazz, to singer-songwriter music, to "crossover": the latter very particular and elusive "genre", among the more than 260 titles produced, perhaps plays the most important role in the frantic search for the New, never separated from the Beautiful, without ever renouncing an aesthetic research always aimed at the content.

Marco Lincetto, founder of Velut Luna - music producer, art director and photographer - literally always, while proudly tied to his cultural identity as an Italian, has developed and cultivated a deep love for the United States of America, identifying himself completely with the great values civilians of the largest and oldest democracy on the planet, learning to love the great horizons of the US continent and its citizens, during the long and constant journeys that he has methodically made in the US since 1987, visiting over 40 states , whether simply for the love of the Great Country and its "way of life", or also for work. Marco Lincetto can today consider as his dearest friends many American citizens, with whom he has had the fortune of collaborating first on a professional level and then , precisely, to also develop a sincere feeling of friendship.
It therefore immediately seemed natural and immediate to identify this project as the ideal celebration of twenty years of activity in the field of music.

This is a far-reaching album, which combines the valorization of the best young talents, with the aegis of established and well-known artists in solo roles, with an ideal twinning between two great countries such as the USA and Italy. It is an authentic themed project, a concept, rigorously structured, articulated in the choice of 5 great American popular songs and 5 great Italian popular songs, interpreted respectively by a great American singer and a great Italian singer, accompanied by a great symphony orchestra of extraordinary young musicians . To complete the program, two instrumental symphonic pieces - an ideal Overture, Americana, and an Intermezzo, Italiano - and a final bonus, in which the two singers perform together a duet on one of the most famous Italian songs of all time. : Italian, but also made a little "American" by part of the English text.
