Here is finally a disc of "classical chamber music", original and lively, which proposes a common thread linked to the story. A story with words, thanks to the very famous Melologhi, in the first ever recording with text in Italian, in which the extraordinary actress Milena Vukotic offers a brilliant example of the potential guaranteed by a great reciting voice in synergy with the rich, deep and mysterious piano of Filippo Faes. We continue with stories in music, offered by the splendid viola of Anna Serova in the equally famous Quadri di fiabe: and then again the Racconti di fiabe, where the viola is joined by the clarinet of Marco Thomas, How can we not conclude with one of the most famous pages of literature of all time, namely the Quintet op.44? In this long overview of the romantic world of Robert Schumann, the Ensemble Punto It, led by the multifaceted pianist and man of letters Filippo Faes, offers an interpretation that is always alive, modern, technically impeccable despite the deadline of a strongly romantic reading.
