41 years in two...

Giuditta Franco is a singer who has just turned 21, who was born into a family of musicians, who has perhaps always sung, but who also thought of forming her voice, studying in the Conservatory.
The beauty of his velvety timbre, aided by an impeccable vocal technique, reminds us of a forgotten style, that some great of the past have meant that there was also a precise definition for this way of singing, or "crooner". And these great ones range from Frank Sinatra, to Nat "King" Cole, to Tony Bennet, but also, to women, from Lena Horne, to Rosemary Clooney, to the famous Diana Krall and Norah Jones.
Giuditta sings with a deep, velvety timbre, characterized by mellow low notes and sparkling high notes, firm and never aggressive and so accompanies you in a dimension of true music, harmonically complex, melodically enchanting. All characteristics that find authentic exaltation and full enhancement from the great repertoire of the classical Bossanova.

Pietro Pasinato is not less interesting. 20 years, excellent guitarist who in parallel with rigorous academic studies at the Conservatory, has always maintained curiosity and application also towards other musical genres, from jazz, first of all, to Brazilian music and why not, winking at rock and blues. His technique is not afraid of rivals, it is a "metabolized" technique, which despite his young age allows Pietro to concentrate on the nuances of the specific style that he decides to tackle from time to time: a sort of "elegant Zelig" at the service of great music.

Giuditta and Pietro represent a perfect and exclusive mix in the music scene of today’s young people. By no means servants of a commercial system that would push them to move in all other areas, both in terms of content and media spaces, they chose instead of riding the dangerous tiger of masterpieces of the past, a repertoire in which all the greatest of all time have already expressed themselves.
It’s a challenge that I know is already won and that I decided to fix in a record that will make it clear to all that audience more curious and attentive, away from the sirens of mass communication.

Retrato Brasileiro is the title of one of the most famous songs written by Baden Powell that perfectly describes the meaning of this record: a meaning that in the intimate is even better photographed by the song, famous "Chega de Saudade", or "No More Nostalgia" which in the original text is dedicated to a woman. But we want to read a translated meaning of this text, dedicating the statement "No More Nostalgia" to the Great Music.
Nostalgia of the Great Brazilian Music of the Bossa Nova era, by all those people tired of the plastic clichés imposed by the great media circus of the contemporary world: Great Music returns and does so not with an old glory on the sunset boulevard, but with two very young performers who can give life back to the real notes, those that will never die.
Good listening!
