Notes

Steven Spielberg's fantasy, enthusiasm and imagination to the power helped me a lot to synthesize the meaning of this discographic work of mine. I think this album represents the deepest meaning of my work in the discographic sector: the why, more than twenty years ago, I wanted to found an independent label at a time when the world of ideas in music was beginning its slow decline.
The Predators are us, who need to explore the world always one meter ahead: we are, with all our curiosity and imagination: we are, with an enthusiasm still intact.
Back in 2002 I had this idea: a game, first and foremost, but also a challenge to try to communicate with a concrete work the infinite possibilities that music offers to man to transform a single theme into countless different compositions.
So I asked some of the musicians with whom I have a deepest relationship, each to elaborate their own original and personal arrangement of the famous Indiana Jones theme, by the great John Williams.
As and more than I had hoped, a fresco was born in 7 paintings that explores every possible acoustic sound, an extraordinary quantity of different harmonic variations, every emotion of making music together.
Traveling through different genres - from symphonic music to choral music, to chamber music, from solo jazz to ensemble jazz, I hope that this musical idea of mine will fascinate you as much as it has fascinated me.
He is currently Professor of Piano at the Windsor Piano Academy in Windsor and Artistic Director of the Windsor International Piano Competition.
He also graduated in History from the University of Palermo with full marks and honors.
