Sacred music and profane music united by the same popular origin are the ingredients and details of this recording project.
In the CD we find artistic expressions of a large territory: Trentino, the Valdadige Veronese, the Caprinese and the Lessinia Veronese, rich in history, traditions and intuitions that still today mark the path of the artistic movement of many musical groups.
Under the artistic direction of Maestro Luigi Azzolini, music by so-called “minor” authors is presented, from the 18th century to the present day, mostly in first-ever recordings. The instruments range from the most diverse choirs, to the organ, to the band in a kaleidoscope of colors and suggestions, for a record that with each track knows how to keep the attention of curiosity alive.
Recorded in high digital resolution by Matteo Costa in 5 different churches between the provinces of Trento and Verona, it offers a rich and varied sound, with a certain emotional impact.
