Notes

Original compositions from 13rd and 14th Century, with jazz improvisation Schola S.Rocco, vocal ensemble / Saverio Tasca, marimba / Luigi Marasca, clarinet / Giovanna Damian, soprano 24Bit / 96 kHz Digital Recording. Live in studio at St. Rocco Church (Vicenza, Italy). June, 1999

Starting from some very famous themes from the vocal repertoire of the late Middle Ages and the European Renaissance, this work resumes and expands the inspiration of artists who previously played ancient music and jazz side by side. However, when listening it manifests itself differently, with new inventions made of interpretation and improvisation together, as in the original revisitation of "Quand je bois du vin clairet".
