Two artists with a very personal style and a strong sensibility. The passion for the musicality and rhythms of Brazil on the one hand and the vitality of jazz on the other gives rise to a meeting in which voice, guitar and piano are intertwined creating fresh arrangements, contamination of styles and worlds.
Refined harmonies and improvisation are inextricably linked to the search for the beauty and simplicity of the melodies, be they instrumental, where the sung parts are vocalized without a text, or through real poems, verses put into music.
The voice of Cappelino, a Steinway Concert Grand, that has almost a century and the acoustic guitars of Ballestrero, enhanced by the exceptional fidelity of the recording of Marco Lincetto, as usual captured strictly live in the studio, lead the listener on a journey through the different souls that fascinate the authors. From their original songs to themes of great composers such as Pat Metheny or Egberto Gismonti, interspersed with real Brazilian songs with the text translated into Italian, a piece of Noa, and in closing the beautiful "Cara" by Lucio Dalla.
