This project presents one of the few musical pages (Introduction, theme and variations on the lied "Trockne Blumen" op.160, D.802) by the great Austrian composer dedicated to the flute, plus two interesting transcriptions of equally famous pages (the Arpeggione and the Sonatina n.1 in D major). In the interpretation of two great international virtuosos, such as Enzo Caroli and Antonio Di Cristofano, this CD guarantees an hour of great listening pleasure, also underlined by the very high quality of the recording that as always allows the listener to be projected into the front row at the Teatro Comunale di Grosseto where the recording was made.
