It’s pointless to deny that I, who all of us in Velut Luna, have fallen in love with this Neapolitan f-a-t-a-t-i-c-a girl.
"Flowers" is the title of his first album for Velut Luna: and the title is not accidental, since Fabiana with this his first work wants to pay a passionate tribute to his reference artists, but even more to an era and the sounds and music that characterized it.
We are obviously talking about those years from 1968 to 1975, in which the concepts of peace, love, fantasy in power, found their most intense concretization. And the singers of that distant era were Joni Mitchell, the Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, James Taylor: the legendary West Coast Sound.
And here then that in this record can not miss songs like Woodstock, Fire and Rain, Help me, All I want, Something, Blackbird, The dock of the bay, … but be careful, because the real jewels shining of the record are the three original songs by Fabiana: Flowers, Try to imagine, Visnu in Bombay…
Recorded strictly live-in-studio in just 3 days, mixed and mastered in two more, this latest born of Velut Luna stands out for that now typical natural sound, dynamic and transparent, that for years now characterizes all the productions of the independent label from Padua.
