The Rachmaninov Trio was formed in Trieste in 1995, completed its training in Duino at the International School of Chamber Music of the Trio di Trieste and the following year won first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Pinerolo, which was followed by an extensive concert activity in Italy and abroad.
The Rachmaninov Trio currently consists of;
Stefano Furini, permanent concertmaster at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste since 1990 and guest concertmaster at numerous important theatres including the Teatro Alla Scala, also began with his father and, after graduating with honors under the guidance of Maestro Piero Toso, he established himself in several national and international competitions, continuing his training at the Duino Academy of the Trio di Trieste together with Alberto Boischio, the Trio's pianist.
Cecilia Barucca Sebastiani, a young cellist from Trieste, began her studies with her father (a student of Libero Lana…), after a brilliant diploma with Maestro Serafin at the Trieste Conservatory, she obtained prestigious placements in numerous national and international competitions. She completed her training at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona with Rocco Filippini, at the Chamber Music Academy in Duino with the Trio di Parma and at the Romanini Foundation with Giovanni Sollima.
Alberto Boischio, pianist from Padua, after graduating with honors in Padua, began a long chamber music career, first in duo with Furini, which led to the formation of the Rachmaninov Trio at the Accademia del Trio in Trieste, together with the cellist Jacopo Francini. He is currently a teacher of Piano Accompaniment and Vocal Practice at the Buzzolla Conservatory in Adria and Maestro di sala e palco at the Teatro la Fenice in Venice.
AMADEUS ADRIATIC ORCHESTRA (AAO) is a youth orchestra founded in December 2015 within the Mozart Italia Association - Trieste branch.
He has performed dozens of concerts, mainly in Italy, Austria and Slovenia. His repertoire includes symphonies and concertos by Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin, music by Saint Saens, Respighi and contemporary music.
Since 2017, AAO's musical projects have been supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
Amadeus Adriatic Orchestra is founded and directed by Stefano Sacher
