Sotto la guida di Volker Wangenheim, l’Orchestra of the Beethovenhalle accompagna Cristina Deutekom (soprano), Nicolai Gedda (tenore) e Hans Sotin (basso) nella suggestiva drammaturgia di Christus am Ölberge: la partitura beethoveniana intreccia fervore spirituale e momento contemplativo con slanci orchestrali di intensa potenza. Nella Messa in Do maggiore, Karl Richter conduce la Münchener Bach-Orchester e quattro solisti – Gundula Janowitz, Julia Hamari, Horst Laubenthal ed Ernst Gerold Schramm – in un’omaggio sacro al rigore classico, dove l’equilibrio tra archi e voci mette in luce la chiarezza formale e il calore emotivo, restituendo l’impianto liturgico con elegante profondità, offrendo un’esperienza coinvolgente.
