After two records, Weke music for piano & string and Eclectic Inside, basically dedicated to composition for piano and string orchestra, At times it isvuole be a return to a creative process that aims, through the jazz trio (piano, electric bass and drums), the viola and the song, the essentiality of the shape and style without sacrificing the distinctive features that have always characterized my compositional style or the desire to tell stories in the crossover style. The compositions, different in style, pathos and shape, will always feature a solid formal structure linked to chamber jazz influenced by pop, funky, latin and some rhythmic and melodic styles typical of Arab culture. I have always been convinced that what unites the music of our days, in particular jazz, and the music of the past, in particular the baroque, is that in both genres it is possible to play "what is not written". From this arose the need to pay homage "in my own way" to two composers of the past but at the same time very modern like J. S. Bach and Girolamo Frescobaldi who have strongly influenced my musical training. Finally, thanks to my companions of this adventure who shared "my idea of making music".

Vincenzo Cipriani was born in Bad Canstatt (Germany) on 12 October 1969, pianist, organist and composer, he is a teacher at the Conservatory E.R. Duni of Matera of jazz harmony, rhythmic contemporary music, ear training. He has released two CDs of his unreleased compositions Weke music for piano & string (Velut Luna, 2010), Eclectic Inside (Farelive, 2018). He has held international tours in China, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Belgium, Brazil, Thailand, Turkey, Egypt, Romania, El Salvador, Germany and France. He has performed his compositions in theatre readings collaborating with several actors including Giancarlo Giannini, Michele Mirabella, Silvia D'Amico.
