GASPARDO ALBERTO, ORGAN

Born in 1990 in Pordenone, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Organ and Organ composition with the highest distinction with Prof. Luca Antoniotti at the “J. Tomadini” Conservatory in Udine, perfecting with professors Radulescu, Tomadin, Imbruno and Lohmann. Furthermore, at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis he completed the Master of Arts in Music Performance in Organ in the class of W. Zerer (top marks and distinction), the Specializing Master in Generalbass and Ensembleleitung in the class of J.A. Bötticher and T. Leininger (top marks and distinction) and the Postgraduate Studies in Cembalo with J.A. Bötticher.
After winning prizes at various national and international competitions (Premio nazionale delle arti, D. Herz in Brixen, J. P. Sweelinck in Amsterdam, …), he was awarded first prize at the prestigious 20th International Paul Hofhaimer Organ Competition in Innsbruck (2022), and was elected ECHO (European cities of historical organs) Young Organist of the Year for 2023.
He has performed regularly as a soloist, as an accompanist and as conductor with a wide range of vocal and instrumental ensembles such as Accademia Naonis Orchestra, Pulcinella Orchestra (Paris), La Fonte Barockorchester (Münster), Il Pomo d’Oro (Zürich), performing in concert halls such as Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (Paris), Opéra de Montréal, Zellerbach Hall (Berkeley), Richardson Auditorium (Princeton), JC Cube, Tai Kwun (Hong Kong).
He has recorded for the labels Urania Records, Aparté, Warner Classics and SFB records.
He is organist and chapel master of the Ref. Kirchgemeinde Herrliberg (Zürich).
