Stokowski Edition, Vol. 2

Leopold Stokowski conducts two important works from the late Romantic and early twentieth-century symphonic repertoire with elegance and vivacity. Rimsky-Korsakov's symphonic suite Scheherazade, Op. 35, is performed with the London Symphony Orchestra in a colorful and enveloping interpretation that captures all the magic of oriental fairy tales.
