Turin guitarist Pietro Ballestrero signs his fourth solo work with the Velut Luna label, here together with Achille Succi, one of the most interesting Italian musicians, also appreciated abroad as a specialist of the bass clarinet.
In this project, each of the two instruments can be a singer or a bassist, create melodic lines or riffs, rhythm and harmony, to create an intense dialogue that blends composition, jazz improvisation and counterpoint.
The profound timbral research, which allows the duo to homogeneously range from original compositions to Radiohead and Nick Cave, is faithfully portrayed with a "live in studio" recording by sound engineer and producer Marco Lincetto, who once again gives us extraordinary audio quality.
