This project was realized under the patronage of the Cesare Pollini Conservatory of Padua, and its director, Maestro Leopoldo Armellini, who brought together nine extraordinary performers selected for Maestro Kostantin Bogino's master class. To crown the work carried out during the masterclass, a series of concerts and this recording were held, made alongside the concerts themselves in "live-in-studio" mode without an audience, thus ensuring maximum sound quality, without losing the emotion and impact of a direct recording.
One of the great pages of the world piano repertoire, the complete Sonatas by Serge Prokofiev, thus finds, in this triple CD, one of its best and most brilliant editions, also thanks to the spectacular sound quality guaranteed by the splendid Steinway & Sons D274 Concert Grand piano resident in the Auditorium Pollini in Padua and, indeed, by the recording made by Marco Lincetto with his exclusive recording technique specially developed for solo piano, which also includes the use of the refined Ribera R12 tube microphones.
