Paola Casula's extraordinary soul voice is at the service of Marco Strano's new minimal arrangements, a series of 15 tracks divided between famous standards and original compositions (My Funny Valentine, Another Day, Both Sides Now, The way we were, etc. and his Nuvole di Carta, Tears, Non più noi, Tra i ricordi). This makes for a memorable album, in which a warm and rounded voice, accompanied by Alessandro Mozzi's piano, Strano's saxes and flutes, Paolo Vidaich's rich and varied percussion, and the powerful bass of the legendary US Band bassist, Gas The Bass, expresses itself with unprecedented richness and groove, also guaranteed by an entirely analog recording, made live-in-studio direct-to-two-tracks in the large space of Hall A of the Magister Studio in Preganziol.
