This Symphony no. 2 in C minor “Resurrection” by Gustav Mahler is an epic recording by the London Symphony Orchestra, with Heather Harper as soprano, Helen Watts as contralto and John Alldis as choirmaster, conducted by Georg Solti. Recorded at Kingsway Hall in London in May 1966, with David Harvey as producer and Gordon Parry as sound engineer, it is an incomparable performance.
