SERGIU CELIBICAHE
Loved and hated, Sergiu Celibidache was the most unusual of modern conductors. He was the only one to have given up recording: the exact opposite of his rival Karajan.
Celibidache, however, left behind many testaments to his career through live recordings with radio orchestras, especially in Italy and Germany. This box set contains four precious recordings from the 1950s, restored here from the original radio masters. This allows you to hear masterpieces by Schubert, Mussorsky, and Franck in some of the most personal interpretations ever made.
