24bit / 88kHz original live-in-studio recording made at San Giacomo Spazio d'Arte, Italy on May, 13th, 2016

The recording was made using only Ribera R12 Handmade Tube Microphones ( NOS stereo pair and close).
During the recording of the digital master and the subsequent transfer to disc, the entire audio chain was trasformerless. The signal was not passed through any processing device (i.e. compression, limiting or equalization) at any step during production.

La musica nasce prima di essere attribuita ad un genere. In questo caso, Sandro Gibellini ed io siamo stati d'accordo nell'idea di registrare belle canzoni nel migliore modo che ci fosse possibile, evitando di usare i brani solo come schemi su cui improvvisare. I brani che abbiamo scelto sono delle perle musicali assolute, con melodie ed armonie perfette. Hanno solo bisogno di musicisti che le amino e le suonino con passione. E' come accendere un fuoco sulla spiaggia, in una notte troppo ruvida. A quel punto, c'è da condividere il piacere con le persone che abbiamo vicino.
